DO YOU HAVE A STORE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Yes, we have. Our studio (and showroom) is located at Rua 12, nº 819, 4500 - 228 Espinho, near Oporto - Portugal.
Although the whole process can be online and although we ship to Portugal and Europe, we will be happy to welcome you to our studio.

HOW CAN I GET A BUDGET?
To obtain a quote/budget, you can visit us at our studio, or access our Wedding Invitations, Stationery or Favors pages where you will find several models and a form that you can fill out referring to the models and / or items of your preference.
If, in addition to our invitation templates, you have an image and / or idea where you have been inspired, send us that information to the email firstname.lastname@example.org, and based on it we will be happy to make a budget .
HOW IS AN INVITATION DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND ITS DEADLINES?
After an initial brainstorm with the couple, our procedures and deadlines are:
The model/prototype and the final order of the invitations can be sent by post Worldwide. (****)
*) The digital proposal of the invitation will be developed and sent via email, and the client can request in one order the changes he deems convenient, always respecting the style of the previously agreed model. After making changes (if any), the respective rectified final digital proposal (in medium resolution JPEG format) will be sent via email.
(**) The model/prototype is made so that you can see live how your invitation will look before we start the production of the order. We emphasize that our models/rpototypes are made of paper and that they try to get as similar as possible to the final model, but they do not include the application of special techniques such as dry reliefs, foil, offset, acrylics, personalized seals, etc ... as these only are made during final production. The model/rpototype can be seen in our studio, or sent by post Worldwide.
(***) Production of the order begins after the customer validates the final version. In this last validation, all data and information, namely the graphic parts, dates, times, contacts, addresses, etc., must be confirmed, being the client responsible for this final verification. In case there is an error that is not then detected, Diferente does not assume the associated costs for the repetition of the final execution work, nor the fulfillment of previously agreed deadlines. The final order can be picked up at our studio, or sent by post Worldwide.
(****) Sending by post is done after receiving the payment in question. Final orders for invitations are sent by registered express mail. Diferente is not responsible for any loss, delay or damage that may occur after the order is shipped.
For non-EU shipments, is the receiver´s responsibility the payment of eventual Customs Duties or any other fees applicable in the country of destination.
Development of the digital proposal (*) which is sent by email - 2 to 5 working days after award
Production of a model/prototype (**) so the client can see the invitation live - 2 to 5 working days after validation of the digital proposal
Final order production (***) - 5 to 15 working days (depending on the complexity of the job) after final validation
DO YOU SEND BY POST?
Yes, we send by post Worldwide.
The physical model/prototype of the invitation we make during the graphic study phase and /or the final invitations order can be viewed / picked up in our studio, but if the client wishes, we can send it by post, as follows:
Observation: For non-EU shipments, is the receiver´s responsibility the payment of eventual Customs Duties or any other fees applicable in the country of destination.

DO YOU ALWAYS MAKE THE DIGITAL PROPOSAL AND A MODEL/PROTOTYPE BEFORE STARTING THE PRODUCTION?
es. At Diferente we always make the digital proposal and the model/prototype so you can see how your invitation will look before the final order is produced.
IF AFTER RECEIVING MY INVITATIONS, I WANT TO MAKE MORE QUANTITIES, IS THE UNIT VALUE THE SAME?
If after starting the production of an invitations order, you want to make more units, the minimum quantity required will be 10 invitations, which is subject to an increase of 30% over the initial unit value of the order. However, if the invitations use special materials or techniques such as: acrylic, special envelope or invitation cutting, dry embossing, foil (thermo-stamping), screen printing, lamination, etc ..., the costs of repeating the work are subject to a new budget.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF INVITATIONS TO MAKE AN ORDER?
Yes. Minimum orders are of 50 units. However, in some models the minimum order may be 30 units, but the base prices will increase. To find out more, simply access our Invitations page, where you will find a form that you can fill out by referring to the invitations of your preference, or leaving a brief description of what you want, and we will then respond to inform you of the minimum applicable quantities.
WHAT PAYMENT PROCEDURES AND METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
After choosing the model and accepting the presented budget, an award must be made in the amount of 50% of the total value of the order. Upon completion of the order, the remaining 50% must be paid.
We accept payment by bank transfer, ATM, and cash.
CAN I ONLY ORDER THE DIGITAL PROPOSAL AND THE MODEL/PROTOTYPE AND THEN DECIDE IF I WANT TO PROCEED FOR THE FINAL INVITATIONS ORDER?
Yes. If at the beginning of the process the customer does not want to immediately award the invitations order because he wants to see the digital proposal and the model/prototype of the invitation first, there is a payment of € 50 (non-refundable). In this scenario, if the client cannot come to the studio to see the model and it has to be sent by post, the amount of 30€ must also be paid. The 30€ are refundable in the event of subsequent award of orders over 50 units.
DO THE DIGITAL PROPOSAL AND THE MODEL/PROTOTYPE HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL COST?
When the customer at the beginning of the process adjudicates an order for an existing model, in which only the data is changed, the development of the digital proposal and the model/prototype is offered - there is no additional cost.
When the client, at the beginning of the process, adjudicates an order for a new personalized invitation or an invitation similar to an existing model but with changes in fonts, layouts, flowers, graphics, etc ..., the development of the digital proposal and the model/prototype has value € 25 to be added to the total order.
HOW CAN I GET A BUDGET FOR A WEDDING DECOR?
To receive a wedding decor budget, you can visit us at our studio, or fill out the form on our Decoration page, leaving a brief description of what you want, and soon we will answer with all the information.
WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR MAKING MENUS, TABLE MARKERS, AND/OR OTHER GRAPHIC PRODUCTS OR FAVORS?
The ordering procedure for final graphic elements (menus, cones, markers, etc ...) or favors associated with the day of the event, are developed in the same way as an invitation, but we do not make models/prototypes because the customer already has the invitation as an example of the work we do.
The execution of these elements requires digital printing on plain matte paper, which will follow the graphic image of the invitation, and that the identification of the tables will be done through a phrase, letters or numbers. However, if you want a customization with new graphics / design, if it is necessary to proceed with image editing, if you later choose textured or shiny papers, or if the order of final graphic elements or souvenirs is less than 100€, there will be a new budgetg.
The process of the final graphic elements must be started 2 months before the event, to develop the respective digital proposal, and then, 10 working days before the wedding, the bride and groom must send us the final data (for example, the menus, composition of each table, etc ... in an editable text) so we can start the production of the order.
The favors process / order must also be started 2 months before the event, in order to guarantee the supply and develop the respective digital proposal, which is sent by email, and then, one month before the wedding, the bride and groom must validate the digital proposal so we can start the production.
After the order is awarded (which implies the payment of 50% of the total value), digital proposals will be developed and sent for the requested products.
The image of these products follows the graphic image defined by the invitations in order to create a set of coherent products in terms of graphics and materials.
Once the graphic image is validated, production begins. With the respective delivery, the remaining 50% of the total value of the order must be paid.
IF I DO AN ORDER, DO I GET EDITABLE FILES AT THE END?
No. The ordering of invitations or any other graphic products does not include, at any time, the supply of files of superior quality, editable and / or vector, as these are an integral part of our Know-How and the work we produce. However, the client may, if he so wishes, request the supply of the names and / or respective initials as they are in the invitation (without any kind of frame / graphic framing) in PNG or JPEG format with good definition, upon payment of 25€.

As an alternative to face-to-face service, whenever customers prefer it:
Access to our facilities, regardless of the reason (visiting the showroom, viewing models, collecting orders, etc ...) can only be done by prior appointment
During face-to-face meetings, Diferente employees and visitors must wear a protective mask
Products on display will be handled exclusively by Diferente employees
We also inform all our fiancés who have to postpone the event, that we are available to make their invitation with the new date in a digital format, without any associated cost. To do so, they just have to contact us via our email: email@example.com
